The best burgers in London
I’m partial to a burger every now and then, not one of those healthy substitutes. A real, naughty, greasy, devishly tasty burger. The type that has so many toppings you can barely fit it in your mouth. Got the idea? Fantastic. Now that I hope you’re all craving a big juicy burger with a side of fries, I’ll let you in on where to find the best burgers in London. I assure you I have tried and tested them all, probably on far too many occasions! All of the ones I’ve listed are really reasonably priced too.

Honest Burger
As the name may suggest, whilst the burger may be delicious and everything you’re looking for all it’s ingredients are ‘honest’. All of the produce on the menu is locally sourced and inspired by British produce. The meat is probably the best quality I’ve ever tasted in a burger and the rosemary salt seasoning on the chips is AMAZING. They started out in Brixton but have gradually expanded to 8 sites across London, you have no excuse to not go and find them.

Dirty Burger
If you’re not a member at Soho House, which is probably the majority of people, then head to Dirty Burger to experience equally delicious burgers as the ones they serve in the houses. It’s food definitely lives up to it’s name. With 4 locations in London: Vauxhall, Whitechapel, Shoreditch and Kentish Town, be sure to pay them a visit. You won’t be disappointed!

Tommi’s Burger Joint
This is potentially my favourite out of this selection of burger bars. On occasions I’ve visited I opted for the steak burger with chipotle mayo and sweet potato fries. But also be sure to ask what their burger of the month is, it’s usually pretty sensational. They have a joint on King’s Road as well as one in Marylebone, so if you’re in the area, seek one of them out and treat yourself.

Patty & Bun
Be prepared to queue, there’s no bookings and if you’re there on a weekend get there for opening time. The original Patty & Bun can be found on James Street off of Oxford Street, they’ve also recently opened their Liverpool Street branch. The Ari Gold Cheeseburger is pretty sensational, I’d highly recommend picking that one when you visit.

Boom Burger
This one is a burger joint with a Jamaican twist. Also known as, the perfect burger. You’ll find these guys on Portobello Road in Notting Hill. Be sure to order the plantain fries, Boom Burger and wash them both down with a rum punch. Certainly the perfect combination for a long summers night, maybe not the perfect choice for your summer bikini body!

Hache
The pulled pork burger… Need I say more. Well actually yes, I probably should. Hache is spread across London in Camden, Chelsea, Shoreditch, Clapham and Balham. Whether you’re after a beef, chicken, veggie or lamb burger, Hache have it all. Unlike some burger places that branch out into too many variations of burgers with quality suffering, these guys have nailed it. Be sure to check them out for a naughty dinner.

Bleecker Street Burger
Now if you manage to find a better burger coming out the side of a van I will be very impressed. Tender, juicy, melt in your mouth. Every cliche description fit this burger van perfectly. They’re usually located in Spitalfields Market but have been known to roam down to the Southbank in the summer months. You must visit, they’re sensational!

Dirty Bones
Located underground off High Street Kensington, this hidden gem is sure to get your tastebuds tingling. Actually I’ll rephrase that, you will be drooling at the sight of the food coming out the kitchen. Whilst they prize themselves on their variations of hot dogs, their burgers warrant a visit on their own. It’s definitely dirty but what good burger isn’t? You should also order a side of Mac and Cheese because, well, what meal is complete without mac and cheese?!
